This information can vary from game to game, but now, let's take a look at the list of plugins that all affect enemies in some way or another in a major way and that'd also affect the Bestiary and the type of information it'd display:īase Parameter Control, Extra Parameter Control, Special Parameter Formula, Animated Sideview Enemies, Weak Enemy Poses, Battle A.I. The bestiary is a small menu that lists the enemies in the game, their stats, and other sorts of information. Why is that? Well, let's take a look at the recent winner: the Bestiary. The stuff that's super generalized will win, but they're also much harder to create stuff for.

The stuff that's super specialized tend to not win because they don't benefit games outside of a few niches. Stuff that exist on that plugin poll are either super generalized or super specialized. What do I mean by that? Well, let's take a look at the latest plugin polls. With an ever growing library of MV plugins to keep track of, work becomes exponential so one person doing everything is extremely unrealistic and the creation of new plugins becomes harder and harder. Is there a reason I want to retire in the first place? Well, as mentioned before, it's hard to find new members to the team.

Any particular reason for 200? Well, to be quite honest, I think it's probably time I retired from creating plugins for MV and 200 would be the ideal number to hit for that retirement. Personally, though? I'd like to push the number to 200 plugins as soon as possible. The other thing would be to slow down on the release schedule, but I think the release schedule is already slow enough as is. This does not seem to be a viable option to pick. The three of them have long quit the team and others that I've talked to simply got overwhelmed before even trying to make anything of it. But this is something I've already tried to do with Tigress, Chickie, and Sylvester. I could try recruiting more people to work on the library. There's a few things I could do to fix this. There's always compatibility issues to be had inside the YEP library itself (and that's not counting the ones outside of the YEP library) so the work compounds upon itself as time passes when more plugins are released. However, while the number of 180 plugins seems impressive and whatnot, it also comes with a plethora of work. As we've hit 180 plugins in the YEP library and counting, I've come to realize just how much time has passed and how much work we've put into making RPG Maker MV into something amazing and it couldn't have been done without all of you and your support for our team on Patreon. I start today with a different type of announcement. just, maybe give a guy a break before off-handedly nailing a declaration to the wall trashing his brand, eh?Ĭopy pasted for those who can't see Patreon: That being said, crashmanx, i hope you do buy my game.

i don't want your fuckin business, and i don't want to incidentally introduce your arbitrary, incessant negativity to the people who are enjoying my style. Straight up, if i've linked you to this thread, and you're still about to bitch about whatever you were bitching about, don't buy my game. then, any time in the future, if one of my products takes off, and someone starts trying to bog me down with tedious trivial horseshit as you have today, i can just link to this edit and say 'get in line behind that harding-supporting dirt-nosed penniless street urchin CrashmanX' then humour you and see where you're coming from. explain that i was kidding, because your initial reaction was fucking baffling from the point of view of a guy who made a joke supporting the generosity of the guy this post is about. if i leave it at that, and if i were researching some random company w an early access, and i saw that, i'd assume the company was racist or some shit. One, delete the comment, so now it says, response: guess i'm not buying anything from wildwood game studios. You put me in a position where i have two options: i've put 3 and a half years in on executing something i've been waiting 20 years for someone else to make. like, this shit isn't 'petty' to me, as you put it. Like, again, im getting paid whether or not i dick around on here with you, so im down to continue the convo, but i wholeheartedly reject your initial 'nobler than thou' posturingĮdit: and to be totally clear, you called my brand out by name. not a single time did i decide 'i'm going to wear my poverty as vestments, and claim to be the voice of the poor, and walk the land banning (apt, and, if i'm being totally honest with myself, hilarious) jokes referencing soup kitchens.' Here's the thing pal(you're no longer telling me what to do so im gonna assume we're having an actual discussion now), i've been poor for most of my life. Dawg i clicked your profile and my printer nearly damn printed out a coffee table book on the evolution of gundam design.
